A large group of Isis fighters in Afghanistan are moving down
a road when they hear a voice call from behind a sand dune:
"One Marine is better than ten Isis fighters". The Isis commander
quickly orders 10 of his best men over the dune where a gun-battle
breaks out and continues for a few minutes, then silence.

The voice once again calls out: "One Marine is better than one
hundred Isis fighters." Furious, the Isis commander sends his next
best 100 troops over the dune and instantly a huge gun fight
commences. After 10 minutes of battle, again silence.

The voice calls out again: "One Marine is better than
one thousand Isis fighters." The enraged Isis commander musters
1000 fighters and sends them to the other side of the dune. Rifle
fire, machine guns, grenades, rockets and cannon fire ring out as
a terrible battle is fought .... Then silence.

Eventually one badly wounded Isis fighter crawls back over the
dune and with his dying words tells his commander,

"Don't send any more men......it's a trap. There's two of them!

Unless it was the Spanish Civil War I think you meant The American War Between the States.

No, I think he's talking about the same war as this web site
The Civil War Home Page
Dedicated to the participants, both North and South,
in the great American Civil War 1861 - 1865

and the war about one hundred other web sites are referring to.

"Civil War": 1. A war between political factions or regions within the same country.

An ugly truth perhaps but truth all the same.

 Spoken like a true Son Of The South. I might have been born and raised in the North but during my naval career I was stationed in Dixie for all but one year of it. To be perfectly honest, even though My family lost two soldiers in the war, I wish the South would have won. No matter how the Northern states viewed any given situation I don't believe they had a right to force their views on the Southern states. Forget all the Liberal B.S. about the reasons for the war, it still boiled down to each state had equal status in the Union. No state or block of states should have been able to force any other state(s) to submit to their views or beliefs.
