Getting it wrong.....

What are you laughing at?

Getting it wrong.....

The train was quite crowded and, a U.S. Marine walked the entire length looking for a seat, but the only seat left was taken by a well-dressed, middle-aged, French woman's poodle. The war-weary Marine asked, 'Ma'am, may I have that seat?' The French woman just sniffed and said to no one in particular. 'Americans are so rude. My little Fifi is using that seat.'

The Marine walked the entire train again, but the only seat left was under that dog. 'Please Ma'am. May I sit down? I'm very tired.'

She snorted, 'Not only are you Americans rude, you are also arrogant!'

This time the Marine didn't say a word; he just picked up the little dog, tossed it out the train window, and sat down.

The woman shrieked, 'Someone must defend my honour! This American should be put in his place!' An English gentleman sitting nearby spoke up, 'Sir, you Americans seem to have a penchant for doing the wrong thing. You hold the fork in the wrong hand. You drive your cars on the wrong side of the road. And now, Sir, you seem to have thrown the wrong bitch out of the window'.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Excellent!!

(See Foz, I didn't say awe****)

When I was stationed at the Naval Aviation Technical Training Center in Memphis, TN. I worked closely with many Marines. One day I was in the Head (latrine to you other service members & bathroom to our civilian members) emptying my bladder. At the urinal next to me was one of my Marine counterparts doing likewise. When I finished I zipped up and started to leave. The Marine turned to me and said "In the Marine Corps they taught us to wash our hands when we are finished." I quickly replied "In the Navy they taught us not to piss on our hands."

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.

A worthy revisit. My version of this, posted here six months ago (May 4), was titled Railroading in France.
