DON'T FORGET TO TAKE OFF THE TIEDOWNS!
Vancouver, Canada
This is a Corben Baby Ace.
It's a very nice flyer and I'm beginning to like it quite a bit.
There are two minor things though.
For some odd reason Prepar3d will crash to the desktop without any warning when it's being loaded.
This is not a totally uncommon event for P3d. Fortunately, it doesn't happen often enough with this plane to make it a real problem. As I said, I like flying this plane.
So what's so funny? Well...
As I now have a dedicated brake lock lever, I use it when I'm about to do an engine run-up before takeoff.
Normally, if I forget to release the brakes I notice it immediately as I start to accelerate, and release them. Not a problem.
Normally.
With this plane, though...
Well, locking the brakes also initiates a plane tie-down.

But it wasn't until I started to take off, without releasing the brake, that I noticed a problem - Two tie-downs are stronger than one!

NOTE TO SELF: Do remember to take the brakes off before takeoff!
