Definitively Speaking

I wasn't sure where to post this but, after doing a crossword puzzle, became ponderous again. Some words, you know, have multiple meanings.
If one is fleet afoot, is this a potential surfer with huge feet; does each foot have an armada? Then, again, maybe not so large since it must consist of very small ships to fit in a 12 inch space. Wait, if it's an armada, would one have shipshape arms? If your arms are loaded, will you shoot them off?

When a drawer is rifled through, is it full of bullet holes?

When I ponder the words in the song, "Home on the range where the deer and the antelope play..."** does Fozzer's vision of this reference to his stove and cooking skills?

**Not time to provide them now but my words to this song differ from the original -- and probably belong in the humour forum. My excuse for this and my other song variants is that I don't remember the original words and don't like to hum.

I've always understood the phrase to be "fleet of foot". (Fleet in this case meaning swift.)

That, too... and it doesn't change the query... ;)
