I think that this is from Feldtbůch der Wundartzney (1528) by Hans von Gersdorff.

It was a book on how to treat wounds.

Well, i just had a bad day....
Yesterday a promised my wife to vacuum-clean downunder.
Today i discovered left light on Toyota has gone out!!
TWO things in one day...Thats too much...And getting dirty changing both bulbs did it...
What a day :whistle: :lol:

we're still wondering if you've managed to put Australia in a vacuum...

Underhanded!! I dare not call my wife "underhanded" :shock:

But i manage her to pull out a page in my Atlas showing Australia. Do you know what happened when i got my wacuum-cleaner near enough :whistle: :lol:

It reminds me of some of the Pubs near where I worked in Melbourne.
Many years ago some Unions got into racketeering on the warves in a big way , on
a few occassions gunmen would walk into the Pubs and gun down people
involved.
The Pubs interior decorations were rather basic , just paint and lino , easy to clean up,
we would go to a Pub a day or two after a killing , and everything was normal , as if
the event had never taken place.
Of course you were always ready to duck and take cover if necessary , always being
mindful not to spill any of your precious beer.
