We always include one "u" in humor -- if we put in two it would have a double-u! To me? No, I'd have to speak either in British or American since yours wouldn't be effectively pronounced by me: if you could follow my discourse with Hagar in the "Welcome to Bawston" post, the y in my personal alphabet is only a consonant: with it I use an i in fli (fly) or an e in pone (pony). I have seperate characters (letters) for the short i sound in flip or the short e sound in beg. Thus, your tyre and US tire would be tir...so our "Tyres"* sound like; "Twyres" to you?
