Having lived close to the Mesabi Iron range I have become too familiar with black bears. Normally they just want your trash cans and what is inside them... on the other hand if you decide to walk then you might not be the top of the food chain. Some local boys wounded a good size black bear which took away its natural ability and it got to be iffy to do anything outside. My advice is to stay INDOORS and keep the rifles away from the doors just in the event that an enterprising volkswagen with a fur coat manages to breach the cabin. They can be a traffic hazard as well being nicely dressed and hard to spot at 60 mph. :shock: :think: :think: :doh:
