
If it was of absolutely nothing then there would be nothing there. But there is something there even if it's just blackness. Nothing is not nothing if it is something and if it can be seen then it's something and therefore not nothing.
When you see black you are infact seeing 'nothing'(i.e the absense of light), its just your minds way of interpretting it
Ah yes, but in this case what we see is not caused by darkness as it is just a black pic. SO we are seeing something..

Yes. But you shouldn't be able to see the absence of light if there was nothing there. It is impossible to either see or even visualise nothing because it is quite simply, nothing.
