Olly-'Who was that?
Stan-'Someone telling me it's a long distance from California'

LMAO.......!
I always liked these 2 silly characters. Still do. Unlike most of their contemporaries their humour is timeless - to me anyway. ;D

LOL...funny line.  ;D

BTW....it's Laurel and Hardy...Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.

They are amongst the greatest comedians that ever lived in my book. That's coming for a die hard 3 Stooges Fan. I've always liked the line by Curly, "I'm trying to think, but nothing's happening." I seem to have this problem more and more with age...lol.

They show periodic Three Stooges Marathons on AMC (American Movie Classics)...next one will be December 31st, a 13 Hour All Curly Marathon. Some cable stations like Nickelodeon still show The 3 Stooges periodically.

LOL. I love the 3 Stooges. I love Curly's three watches and him explaining to Moe how to tell time. Then Moe asks for the time and Curly pulls out a pocket watch! LMAO. That's funny stuff.

That particular one I saw myself a short while ago, very funny.  It's definately true "that's another fine mess you gotten me into".

The funniest one I can remember is where Olly & some other guy in a traffic queue systematically destroy each other's cars. I have no idea what it was called. Makes me chuckle just thinking about it. ;D

The "piano moving" epic`s official title is "The Music Box".
No matter how many times I have seen it, I still have to laugh!

I grew up with the Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, the Marx Bros.
Not literaly but as a kid. and even today with many fine comics, This is what real comedy is!!!
When as a child I would find just the "slap-stick" funny but as I got older and started to pay attention to what was being said it was then I realized the true comedic genius of these people. The one liners are amazingly funny!!!

Disorder in the Court has got to be the best "Curly" action ever!! "Raise your right hand!" :) :) :)

"drop the bernaculair" " That's not a bernaculair, that's a Deeerby!"  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Can anyone remember the title of the L&H movie where Stan doesn't realise WW1 is over and is found marching up and down a trench one end of which is stacked with empty baked bean tins?
Anyway a most Happy New Year to you all and your families-have  a great time.
