I was a little more discreet: I actually added an inverter under the hood wired to a small household A/C inside the cab of my truck.

Ridiculous as those solutions may be, they both work! (I'll bet that's one of the "coolest" Lincolns in town too!)

I doubt the inverter I used in my truck, with the cost of a second alternator to supply it, was any more expensive than that generator -- but my truck probably guzzled more fuel than the generator and Lincoln combined.
