The Tale of the Fiat 147

What are you laughing at?

The Tale of the Fiat 147

Postby HarvesteR » Tue Aug 18, 2009 3:36 pm

So I was driving my old and beaten Fiat 147 along the road, and needless to say, the old thing broke down on me.

So I pull the piece of junk up to the shoulder and wait for someone to pass by..

A Porsche 911 Twin-Turbo passes by at 120mph...

So, the guy in the Porsche turns around and pulls up near me and my broken heap of rust, and offers to tow the 147. I accept his offer, but ask him to please not to accelerate too much, fearing (much rightfully) that the junker wouldn't hold together at high speeds. And saying I would let him know when he was driving too fast.

So on we go along, I flashing my headlight (singular) at him everytime he sped past 40.

After a while, this black Mitsubishi 3000GT pulls up along the now very bored Porsche driver, and challenges him for a go.

The Porsche driver won't let it go unnoticed, so they both start barrelling down the road, the Porsche pulling me right behind it!! 100, 120, 130, 140, 150mph!!!

Now I was frantically flashing my single light at them, and they were still head to head, and didnt even notice the speed trap, that registers a whopping 160mph!!!

The cop on standby calls up the highway patrol immeadiately:

"Attention all units!! We have an illegal street race in progress!! A Porsche 911 and a Mitsubishi 3000GT are racing it out, and, I swear on my mother... A Fiat 147 is right behind them flashing so he can pass!!"

;)
