I think my comment was more so to the person/business that would put down a cigarette ashtray with a no smoking emblem in it. If they didn't want people to smoke, why bother going to the expense to put ashtrays down. This in itself would tend to promote smoking don't you think.... :-/

Seems to me a simple sign or two and the lack of ashtrays would be a better deterrent..... ;)

Has to be a business with a good sense of humor, thats for sure... Really does leave me wondering how many people would start smoking just because of that ashtray. ::)

In the end it's just a joke, shouldn't really look too much into it.

I think they're in the tobacco company's break room -- the standard surgeon general's warning wouldn't fit well and they figured their dragged out employees wouldn't pay attention.

Sort of makes as much sense as a no sex emblem pasted on a condom machine at a truck stop...... :-?

:)

This topic is weird, the replies outnumber the views. :-?

Our local bars here ignore Ohio's no public smoking law.

Good thing I don't go to bars. ;)
