Bright lights do work. There is a 24 hour petrol station nearby that has a bright blue light in their restrooms. It keeps out drugs users because they can't see their veins to inject into....

Crash ;)

wow the people that wrote the story underneath are so incredibly dumb.

Why waste limited resources on something which moves all young people out of an area? They will move on to somewhere else.

THATS THE POINT! the people dont want them in the area and are trying to move them somewhere else.

Mike Powis, crime reduction manager at Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This scheme proves that creative solutions can be some of the most effective."

However The National Youth Agency blasted the idea and argued it would just move the problem somewhere else.

"The pink lights are indiscriminate in that they will impact on all young people and older people who do not, perhaps, have
perfect skin"

Peta Halls, development officer for the NYA, said: "Anything that aims to embarrass people out of an area is not on.

....like Petra Halls?

"Why waste limited resources on something which moves all young people out of an area? They will move on to somewhere else"

..thats the whole idea..."Somewhere else" is good.!...;)..!

"They have a right to congregate, it's part of being a teenager and most young people are good, law-abiding people"

...no they aren't......They are mostly annoying little Toe-Rags annoying the Residents!

The National Youth Agency said it would just move the problem somewhere else.

Oh, he's a clever one. I never would have thought that!

Just go down to your local kid's playground, that's what we do at lunchtimes! Remember, it only says "Reccomended for children 8 years and below"
