The last one is no fail, it works. I turned on my wipers once and the complete rubber for some reason was torn off. I did just that with the wash sponge in my boot. It got me to the car parts dealer, though I don't recomend this a long term fix just to change your blades at the same time ;D

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
