Took a while to type. Common knowledge that the hypotenuse on a triangle with sides 3 and 4 is 5. Good practice anyway. Did I spell hypotenuse right?
I prefer the way illustrated in the picture I found ;)
If you need an extra 5hp are you going to be satisfied with 3hp? Would you be satisfied with only 4hp even if you didn't need the available 5hp?2+2 = somewhere between 3 and 5 ?
The basic formula of L2+L2=H2
but A2+B2=C2 works, too.

I learned it earlier this year in 8 honors math class as A2+ B2=C2. L for leg and H for hypotenuse seems to make more sense though.

Also, if one length is 3, and one 4, the hypotenuse is always 5 (3,4,5 triangle).
