A car is going 60 mph over the speed limit, with a bunch of cops chasing him. When he goes around a particularly sharp turn, his wife falls out of the car. One officer stops to help her, but the rest keep chasing.
They eventually catch up with him, and they say "sir, are you aware that your wife fell out of the car about ten miles ago?"
He says "Oh, thank goodness, For a while there I'd thought I'd gone deaf!!!
