Blind man in a fishing shop

Postby Elrith » Wed Apr 26, 2006 11:48 pm

An old lady went into a fishing shop to buy her grandson a new fishing reel for his birthday. She wonders through the shop looking at all the reels, its all jiberish to her so she grabs a reel and takes it up to the counter. Behind the counter there is a man wearing dark sunglasses.
'Excuse me,' says the lady 'what can you tell me about this fishing reel?'
'Madam,' says the man 'I am completley blind, but if you drop the reel on the counter i will be able to tell you everything you need to know about it.'
The lady doesn't believe the man, but she drops it anyway. As soon as the reel hits the counter the man says 'That is a Penn Spinfisher 2000, Nylon string and a spool built to enhance casting. It is on sale for $40.00 only this week.'
'Thats amazing,' exclaims the lady 'I'll take it.'
The lady takes out her purse and pulls out her visa card, but she accidently drops it on the floor.
'Oh, that sounds like a visa card,' says the man.
The lady bends down to pick up the card but at that moment she lets out an enormous fart. The lady is quite embarrased at first, but then she realises that the man couldn't know who did it because he is blind.
She hands the card over to the man who swipes it and punches something into the till.
'That will be $51.95 please,' says the man.
The lady is confused.
'But you said the reel is $40.00,' she says.
'Yes madam,' says the man 'the reel is $40.00, but the duck caller is $9.95 and the fish bait is $2.00.' ;D ;D :-X

Heard it before. Kinda OK I guess... But why would a fishing store sell a duck caller?

Obviously it catered for other types of hunting as well.
