An old woman is in front of the judge having been charged with shoplifting a can of peaches from the local supermarket. "Ma'am, why did you steal the peaches?" asked the judge. "Your Honor, I was starving and wanted something to eat, but I didn't have any money."
Taking pity on the woman, he asked her how many peaches were in the can. "I believe there were six."
