One of my coworkers, Bob, took flight 50 from JFk to FLL on this past Monday night Nov.17th.
He boarded the plane and sat next to another guy as they waited for the plane to fill up. They started talking about sports. Nothing major.
He said a large black lady was the last to board the plane and was giving the FA a hard time b/c she wanted to put her bag in the overhead compartment.
This lady argued with the FA's for 5 minutes while some of the pax (including Bob and the guy next to him, his seatmate) yelled for her to sit down.
Then the pilot made a few announcements asking that someone could make room for her stuff.
Finally some pax found a spot for her to put her bag up. BUT this black lady gave more problems b/c the overhead space was 5 rows away.
They argued another 5 minutes and in the meantime, Bob and his seatmateare yelling for her to get off the plane. Other pax started saying the same thing.
Finally the pilot announced to the FA's that they would have to leave her if they did not resolve the situation now.
And then it happened, as Bob explained,
"All of a sudden, completely unrehearsed, I look to the guy next to me and sing, "NAH NAH...."
then he chuckles, looks back at me and says
"NAH NAH NAH NAH..."
Then a group of surrounding pax bagan to chant
"NAH NAH NAH NAH, HEY HEY HEY, GOODBYE!"
And then rest of the plane started chanting as well, as the FAs took her off the plane!!!
ROFLMAO! That is great!! Well done Jblue travelers!!
What I would have given to be there.
