Forced Landing

A Spitfire pilot made a forced landing on a sandy beach on a remote Scottish island,climbing from the cockpit he noticed a bent old lady wrapped in a shawl collecting shell fish.'Pardon me Madam, but are there any Mechanics on the island' 'Afraid not Sir,here on the islands we only have McLeods'

Then there was the one about the WAAF driver who swerved to avoid a child and fell out of bed
