Drowning Terrorist

What are you laughing at?

Drowning Terrorist

Postby ozzy72 » Wed Apr 15, 2015 4:33 am

Whilst strolling round the Harbour this morning about 11 am., I noticed a terrorist who slipped from the quayside and fell into the water. He was struggling to stay afloat because of all the explosives he was carrying. If he didn't get help he would surely drown.

Being a responsible British citizen, and abiding by the law of the land that requires you to help those in distress, I informed the Police, the Coastguard, the Immigration Office and even the Fire Service.

It is now 4 p.m., he has drowned, and none of the authorities have yet responded.

I'm starting to think I wasted four stamps.

No .... most definitely not,
think what you have done for the economy !

With that revenue , the postal services can now purchase new advanced computerised equipment to further slow down the delivery
time of letters.

With the taxes on those sales the government can either,
- buy more red carpet to bolster their fragile egos on ceremonial occassions ,
or
- increase the size of the beurocracy to further enhance red tape and response times.
It will probably require the set up of a committee to study and decide on preferred options.

I think you overdid it by a few stamps. When they'd received no call, local police advised a witness that he'd had a responsibility report such an incident.
"Oh, but I have... it's in the mail!"
