.... ... ... ...!

Its the sort of thing that reminds me of Earthly; "TIME ZONES"!

I look at the clock on my wall and I get to realise that some of my Flight Sim Chums are either still in bed some time yesterday, or just getting up some time tomorrow!

I love all the Time Zones Clocks at the bottom of my Browser to remind me if there is any point in trying to contact any of my Flight Sim Chums!

Paul...suspended in time!.... ...!

First, the USAF flew me off Guam in the cargo hold of their transport: @90° F to 32° F in 60 seconds. Then they landed me on Henderson Airfield, Hawaii, the day before I left Guam. If it weren't for the delay due to another's emergency leave, I still would have been arriving over the continental U.S. before I'd started the flight in Guam.

Did that in Jan '73, left Guam in the hold of a C-141 at 76 degrees & landed in Anchorage 12 hours earlier at 30 below in 15-0 browns and a jacket. Froze my bejabbers off til I caught a hop to Dallas, TX.

If it hadn't been for getting bumped for the emergency leave, I'd have remained on that transport for Alaska, too. I was, instead, transferred from Hickam (I've been studying WW2 events around Vella Lavella and mistakenly typed Henderson in my initial post) to Honolulu International to a commercial flight stateside. My destination, however, was my remote radar site near Hastings, NE, with its cold winter blizzards (comparatively, what NH calls a blizzard is a breeze).

I personally would like to travel to 1966. Life has pulled some nasty tricks on me and I would love to avoid some of the grief.... One dollar twenty five cents an hour for wages, thirty cents for gas/cigarettes and a whole lot of fun as I recall. So where is this Dr. Who any how? I keep looking for a red phone booth.
