It's the City centric world that we now live in .

What intrigues me is that both marketing and advertising are staffed by "Bright" people who are "Cool"
and are on very high salaries. :?:

I can understand that Tesco were reluctant to put a cost on the poster mistake :mrgreen: .

Our milker was a Jersey...
our steer a breed of Hereford;
however, the brown was so dark it looked black from any distance away.

As to the average person out there...
even many butchers receive an already skinned and halved bovine and have no idea the original gender, let alone the breed;
then you have someone, seeing such an animal in the pasture, "That must be a boy cow."

.......... yes, cattle are subjected to sexual disorientation...
Of course, some while ago I reported an add placed in a local newspaper:
"Please stop killing wild animals. Get your meat at a local supermarket where no animals are killed."
