Any physicists?

So I have a physics exam tomorrow, and there is a sheet that we need to hand in before the exam. I have all the questions done except for one, which I have been trying to get for a few days. Anyway, the question is:

Thomas Young's double slit experiment was an exhibition of his genius. Describe the four problems that he needed to overcome in order to show diffraction in light and explain how he solved them.

I have one problem (He needed to disprove Isaac Newton's idea that light was a particle). Just 3 more now.You guys would be a

Day late, but if you youtube youngs's double slit exp, there's a lot on it.
