Another important factor is the news. I have worked and holidayed in the USA on the East Coast and the West Coast over the last 25 years and the news is very, very inwardly looking. What is happening outside of the USA is not that important. I remember staying in Las Vegas. The news was
all about how a skunk had "skunked" the door step of a local restaurant. I thought this article would never end. At the end, the Anchor said, "Now in other news, the war in Bosnia continues, and that was the news from (insert a huge amount of capital letters and a random number......

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
