positioning equipment

Until now I've been using a joystick/throttle combo, which were placed left and right of my keyboard, but I bought a yoke/throttle system and two control panels, on the side.
So now the middle position of my desk is taken by the yoke and throttle quadrant, left and right of I got the two switchpanels, but now my keyboard lies behind the yoke and is hardly reachable, especially when sitting back with my hands on the yoke.

I cant make a drawer under the desk because of the screw from the yoke and throttle, I cant place it on a seperate desk on the right, becuase my printer and all my computer stuff as books and CDroms are there, I cant put a desk to my left, because I would lock myself in. And anyways, when I would place my keyboard to my left or right, its totaly not practicle for writing, photo editing, playing WoW and a lot more, so basically it has to be in center position in front of the monitors.
So... Right now I'm typing, half standing, bend over my yoke, my arms kept up by the two panels... This is most uncomfortable!

How have other people positioned their equipment, so everything is properly usable? I can do with some inspiration, here. ;)

I don't have a fix for you but I have my keyboard to the left all the time. After a while I just got used to it and prefer it that way now.

I solved the age old position question by starting to build a simulator pit a few months ago...

Personally, I position my equipment on the right.
I find it is most comfortable that way.
Posh circles in England, in the Gentlemen's clothing trade, refer to it as; "Dressing on the right"

I have a nice neat solution to equipment positioning. Having had my desk taken over my a wife and two boys, my "equipment" was to be found here and then there and then "has anyone seen"........
So I came up with this;

Tidy.
Always in the same place.
Portable.

Add to it FsMovMap App for my smart phone and am ready to hit the skies in seconds 8-)
