Almost done with my latest creation: The Messerschmitt BF-109. The model's got nice details like exhaust pipes, air scopes, antennas, etc.

All I have to do now is:
1.) Run a thread from the control thingy behind the canopy to the rudder
2.) Install the machine guns, cannons, and pitot tubes
3.) glue on the prop (I always do this last because I'm clumsy and might end up bending the propeller blades ;D)

Interesting.

All I have to do now is:
1.) Run a thread from [glow=yellow,2,300]the control thingy behind the canopy[/glow] to the rudder

I think you mean the radio aerial mast. The aerial runs from the mast to the top of the fin (vertical stabilizer).

Great work! That must take a lot of patience. How is Rio the cat doing lately?

Pretty good... He slept in our garage last night. I made a little tent-like thing out of blankets for him. ::)

Way, way more patience than me. I have given paper models a go and it was a disaster. I will stick to plastic and wood.

Really? I think plastic models require waaay more patience. Paint... Let sit for like 12 hours to dry... Then you glue... Takes too long! :-/ With paper models you just cut and glue. And they can fly too! ..Depending on the model... :P

Paper models aren't as detailed but you get more fun out of them. ;D

Yeah, but it's hard because I'd have to make the cockpits custom... :(

Even so, the aircraft don't have all the antennas and pitot tubes and little details like that. :P
