It does not matter how many were killed. People died.

If all American's think like that then I am not surprised you are all killing each other.

Desensitization to violence should not imply a propensity towards violence.  Otherwise governments would be justified in banning violent video games and movies.

A woman and her child were murdered in my city in a robbery about 5 years ago.  The crime has never been solved.  Why didn't you report that?

I suppose, thinking about it, logically, in the overall scheme of things; with a total USA population of 311,591,917, a few folks getting shot with guns now and again, is no big deal...

...apart from those closely affected by it... :'(...!

Lots of Folks!

I do not do online grief for someone I do not know,

Well said. I thought I was the only one to find this current trend offensive.

Although I reply w/o checking all the facts, I am assuming that is the population according to the Census Bureau.  Lest we forget the huge number of illegal immigrants, many of which belong to foreign gangs or cartels intent on smuggling said guns (among other things) into the U.S.

I am watching a crime show from somewhere in the UK. A guy stabbed someone five times with a knife and was charged with unlawful injuring. So I wonder, is there a legal way to injure someone?

Steve,

1) I do not know how old you are but honestly, I feel that way too and I am still young  ;D

2) I guess lawful injury is if they are just plain stupid and injured themselves (?) ;D
