I'm looking forward to celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving this coming Sunday with fellow Canadians here in Houston. It's actually on the 8th, but our event will be celebrated on the 7th.

What to expect: Deep Fried Turkeys & Smoked Turkeys, Cold Canadian Beers and all the other holiday trimmings, Poutine, Caesars, Canadian Music, Pinata full of Canadian Candy.

I look forward to eating Poutine (pronounced poo-tin). Steve M mentioned this in a thread awhile back.

Chris (Canadian, thanks to the Canadian Citizenship Act of 1977)

I'm going to cook up a Turkey this year. All by myself! Got a new oven this summer to replace the one I blew the window out of last time. I don't have the gonads to deep fry a turkey but I bet it's delicious! I still can't get Poutine down even if you shot it at my face from a cannon though..
Have a good and safe Thanksgiving Chris! :)

Steve,

Unfortunately, the host was unable to prepare Poutine in time.

I found Canadian Molson Lager to be quite good.
