So I am not going mad!

This is rather odd, and April 1st has long gone, but it would appear that I am not the only one. I tried to explain this to my wife a while ago, but she thought I was mad thinking that my phone was vibrating..........
Has anyone else "suffered" phantom ringing??

I get it too, but my phone is always on vibrate so that is what I hear/feel. Its a little awkward to get phantom vibrations coming from your pocket  ;D
Sometimes it annoys me enough I put it in my sleeve pocket on my jacket, but then I just get phantom vibrations on my arm ;D

I have found that the cure is to keep it away....or turned off ;)
( I prefer the later)

I get "Phantom Phone Ringing" if I am suddenly awakened from a slumber.

It is possible that any slight noise that wakens me, I attribute to the Land-line Phone ringing. In my head the sound is identical the the Phone ringing, just once!
It wakes me up, completely!
My Mobile Phone is permanently switched off. (I only use the Land-line).

Every-day sounds which we get used to!

Paul...ringing in my ears... ;D...!

Even as I type I feel the phantom vibrate.  Unfortunately switching the phone to another pocket doesn't help, nor does a phone holster.  You are NOT alone! Perhaps we can all start a support group for sufferers of the 'phantom'. :D
