New Specs

Well that has been a fun afternoon trogging around opticians following the fatal accident to my old specs of my sons right hook! So I'm getting these ultra funky custom made Zeiss toughened lenses and titanium frames.
So how long will these ones last?

An old buddy was horsing around with his then 6 year old son. He was acting like Bruce Lee and doing some really bad Kung Fu.

He went up to the boy with a Lee yell and the boy kicked him in the twins (accidentally). My poor buddy went cross eyed; sunk to his knees and said in a raspy voice, "That's ma boy", as he fell over and laid there on the floor.  ;D

I am waiting for my new glasses. It is bifocals for me, I got so pissed off with constantly swapping my glasses over or trying to find the pair that where not on my nose because I had put them down somewhere.
"A bit of a pickle" - British translation: A catastrophically bad situation with potentially fatal consequences.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
