Storm knocked out things around me at Ft Bragg but i'm good to go. 108 yesterday with a 115 heat index. Currently 101 and supposed to rise a bit more to 105. My poor AC unit. I have no shade in the front yard so I got my spare window unit out to take off some of the load.

Mike.....Cold house,Colder beer,good internet,all the curtains drawn...I'm good to hook ;)

Colorado has been having it bad with its Wild Fires...

..and I am expecting the usual California Wild Fires to strike, which always involves a trip in my FS 2004 Cessna 150 every year, to explore the affected areas, using Google Street Maps...

Paul... 8-)...!

We got hit, but thankfully we're much better off than most.  Our power came back EARLY this morning, thank goodness.  There are LOTS of power line poles completely snapped in half, and even a few that snapped in half and then had the bases toppeled or blown off, leaving the upper half still connected and dangleing from the wires! :o
We did see some cool lightning though.  I even saw a COMPLETELY horizontal line of cloud-to-cloud lightning! That's pretty rare! :)
