Having spent some of the happiest times of my childhood in Geelong this makes me soooooo happy.

I just have visions of two ranch hands in their Holden trying to remember how to turn the windscreen wipers on to get the sheep off

Emergency Service speak:

Paramedic Allan Eade: "We have a large number of deceased and injured livestock, only a small number of injured occupants of the vehicles"

Would the; "deceased livestock" be; "dead Sheep"?

It always tickles me to death the sort of strange language that the Emergency Services, etc, and the Military use, to describe an incident/occurrence!... ...!

The Police, for a classic example, speak in a language which is totally alien to we normal Earthlings....
....."Excess Verbiage" - (Using Too Many Words)...is the order of the day!... ...!

Weather Forecast:
(a) "The weather at the present time is unduly inclement, and considerable precipitation can be anticipated later in the day, with strong variations in atmospheric air pressure".

(b) "Its not very nice outside, and its gonna rain in a minute, and get a bit windy!"

I've read stories of it raining fish and I've heard stories of it raining frogs but never sheep. Oh, but the last time it was raining cats and dogs I stepped in a Poodle.
