Was the F-22 in Transformers actually painted?

Im watching Transformers 2 again and in some shots it looks like "Starscream" was done via an actual Raptor specially painted for the movie. I cant find any info to support or deny this. I am just curious if the USAF would actually let one of its very expensive 5th gen fighters be painted for a movie! Personally, I think that the Raptor that does the airshow demos should be specially painted (how cool would it be to see "starscream" at an airshow?).

It was actually Cgi. I don't think The air force would let anyone use it's most advanced fighter for the budget wouldn't really be enough.
except for Mariah Carey for "classified" reasons :D ;D

[edit]Whooops!!!!
Apparently it was the first Movie to feature non-cg raptors. :-X
Must have cost an arm and a leg though. So I still Stand by what I said :D[/edit]
But on a more serious note, I don't think they painted it for starcream because If you look at when they're flying over the city, They don't notice starscream

Hmm, well thats why I asked! I had a hard time believing the USAF let one of those babies get painted, but it looks real in a few particular scenes in the Revenge of the Fallen (Transformers 2).
