I've heard some funny tales involving drink in my time, I've even participated upon occassion but this one if I hadn't seen the photo I'd have thought someone had spiked my tea

I'd heard tales of elephants and monkeys getting hammered on windfall apples from a Rhodesian friend but I'd never seen footage before, guess I always took it with a pinch of salt. Serves me right for being a hardened cynic!

Perhaps because it is a very stupid animal wasted on free booze and making a mess of property belong to some poor innocent?
