Goodly snowy morning all.... :)

We got lots of snow in the night and it is still snowing... :)

Well I got ripped off last night as I posted in "Patchz" thread "Training Film" in the above General Discussion Forums.

Flying Wild Alaska was not viewed here as advertised on the Discovery Channel... :P
Something else was on.

We checked the computer and television guides to see if we were wrong but too my knowledge it was supposed to be shown.

I couldn't get it either Doug. I'm on Bell satelite. The Discovery site lists it showing again Sunday at 11:00 am, but my TV Guide lists something else.

Hi Steve... :)

I think the networks screwed up.

Ice Pilots for example has the hightest ratings of any show, yet it say's it is on the History Channel.

It was on the Discovery Channel so I wonder when that happened?

I have my phone, internet high speed and television with Cogeco and they are usually very good.

Hope they get it all straightened out and put Flying Wild Alaska and Ice Pilots "Buffalo Airways" back to back.

We are not much on watching television short of maybe the news as way too many other things to do in life than sit in front of a Boob Tube... ::)

[color=#000000]Dang Doug, that's tough. I'm sorry you did not get to see it. Maybe they will get things straightened out and you will get another chance. But I know how you feel, there a number of programs I would like to have seen but can't get.

Once again, it's not a network problem, It was only shown in the USA.  ;)

The show was okay. I don't really like shows of this type becuase they make everything so overly dramatic: "Can this proffesional pilot take off from this runway or will he be stuck on the ground!!!???" I wonder which it will be.  ::)

Ep #2 -
Pilot Luke Hickerson transports dangerous chemicals from Barrow to the remove village of Atqasuk; in Unalakleet, the cold and dark winter claims its first casualty and Jim must make arrangements to transport the casket.
Your version bodes better with a single casualty at Unalakleet versus the complete removal of a remote villiage -- no wonder it was named Atqasuk. ;)
