I've always dreamed of finding a P-51 in a dusty old barn, but this tops that by 100%.

I would believe that they would still be government property though.

Have heard many stories just like that one about aircraft being buried or stored in underground hangars but the only thing I have seen was tanks, trucks, jeeps etc. properly serviced for storage and buried on the Canadian Dew Line.

Iv heard story's  of people digging up WWII bikes in strange places for a while.

There has been a recent discovery of a WWII resistance bunker complete with armory and supples (all ready to be used) in a copse some where near to me.  (out Louth way I think )
