This is a short video, but it's news and I thought it would get more coverage here than in the Video forum.

Wow just noticed this post Larry or would have responded sooner... :)

Awesome Link and worth a watch for one and all... ;)

They should take that oil pipe line and shove it where the sun don't shine... :-X

The bears come first as there are lots of other solutions and the biggest problem is the large oil companies do not want to spend money... :-X

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Sounds like a prime candidate for a World Heritage Site to me. The LAST thing that should be put there is a DAD GUM OIL PIPELINE!

GO SPIRIT BEARS!

Alan :)

I thought that might put a bear in your soup Doug. Seems to me, they just don't take the time and trouble to figure out alternatives.

Most unfortunate for Canada is the seemingly unlimited natural resources found here. The wildlife is beginning to dwindle away to make room for people and industry. In the thirty some years I have lived in Ontario, I see a marked change in wildlife sitings. One faux pas that has stood out in my mind is when they began filling a new hydro electric dam reservior in Quebec they failed to consider migrating Carribou herds need to cross through what used to be a river. Thousands of Carribou drowned. I've always wished the powers that be would realize, limit the humans, not the animals.
