they agree'd to join a currency that was doomed to fail, things made worse by the economic climate, and finished off when other members of said currency couldn't be bothered to pay taxes and such, it all but finished the trail of destruction. :-X

In my opinion the Euro was not a great idea to begin with and they should have left some parts of Europe out of it. Mainly the parts that pay very little taxes and can retire at 50(?).

Alas Paul every country has its nutters. Those bomber types were just a small minority.
If you want weird I'd say the Cornish or Welsh Seperatist movements win the fruitcake award!

The big bit (largest) at the bottom is called Eire, (not part of the United Kingdom). The Republic of Ireland, with its own Government.
The little bit (smallest) at the top is called Belfast, and is part of the United Kingdom, governed from Westminster (England):
England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
You have to paddle across the Irish Sea to get to Ireland, North and South.

I like the Irish Sea!... :)...!

Paul.... ;)...!

No Foz. Belfast is a city. It's the capital of Northern Ireland.

If you ever get the opportunity, "Echo of the Black Horn" is a good read.

Nuts, Larry!
My library doesn't carry that
