New Alive!

another case when people almost leave the attempt of rescue ,they even declare them death
This reminds me the incident in the early 70's when and airplane passenger survive in the Andes ,remember the movie"Alive"a movie based of a real incident?
this is a miracle ,But I'm watching the Chilean TV and expert says they will need months to be rescued ..

I saw this in the news, 4 months is a long time to spend in a tiny cave with 33 people, hope they are close friends!

Talk about a "good news/bad news" scenario...  :-/

But at least they are not completely isolated; being able to communicate with the surface should help them through this.

Now if one of them gets asked "have you been living under a rock?", they can say yes. ;D

I'm just wondering now, in similar circumstances, would you go back down the Mine again, (or any other underground Mine)?

I suspect they will have a difficult decision to make now, assuming other, well-paid, local work above ground, will be difficult to find for them... :o...!

Glad to see that they are all out, OK...Well done to the Rescue Team...amazing bit of engineering!

A good news story for once  :) .......Except for the poor chap who was being greated by both his wife and mistress :-/

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

The guy with the mistress was probably like: "No, I'm fine down here, you guys go enjoy yourselves."
