Wonder how many times people seeing those for the first time are going to slam on the brakes and get rear ended...body shops are going to love this

I've been reading this in the newspaper--interesting concept, but way too stupid. I wonder what's going to happen after a while when drivers get used to it, and learn to kind of ignore it. Then watch out if a real kid runs out into the road. Could be awful.

actually, I live in the area... So far, no accidents caused from it... It actually makes drivers think with care... Note we have a lot of bad drivers in vancouver!
