Next Saturday, August 7th, I'm going on a one hour flight,
and the cost includes up to three people.

I need to fill the third seat, as my wife & daughter are not interested,
and I don't have any friends in the real world to fill the spot.

That would be the one. 

Weather canceled the original date, and then the following two weekends were already booked, so we got the next available open day.

Would be tempting, New Castle is only 90 miles south of me, heading that direction anyways on the 7th, but to a wedding down in Muncie.

Well, if no-one is going to take you up on it I might just have to swim up there and hop in! 

Wouldn't be practical for me during that time-frame even though I'm the second closest to you here. (Pennsylvania)
