Jumping Jeepers

Goodly afternoon all... :)

Well I just got to type this out for you all to read...it is hard to believe but true.

This morning the old girl and I walked around part of the city, well you all know school is out and has been for more than two weeks now.

I figured the teenagers would be hanging from the trees by their toe by now from boredom but I am not sure what has happened to the younger generation.

We went into several stores and as we were getting close to the doors there were several teenagers hanging about the front of the stores.
One young lad made it a point to step over to the door and hold it open for the old girl and I while wishing us a good morning.
When I said thank you he said you are welcome sir....hmmm.

I checked to see if I still had my wallet once inside as that action was not anticipated by myself from a city slicking teenager I have never seen before... ;D

That happens in a small village or town where you know most of the younger generation but I was not expecting it here.   ::)

We were greeted on the sidewalk several times with hello's and goodmornings from several strangers and again several young folks.

Complaining, no not at all, it was just something we or I was not expecting in a city.   :-X    :)

Okay you young whipper snappers here don't think I am getting soft we are still going to check on your grammar and spelling here... ;D      ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Somewhere along the journey,
they all realize, that they'll be in your position soon,
so they try to earn as many Karma points as they can before they get there.
