in a day of dreary sprinkling and amidst the roar; no, not a roar of cloud-given thunder; 'tis bike week... the motorcycles roar, score by score!

Unfortunately....

Harley Davidson Bikes, and their riders, can be found outside of the USA.... :'(...!

Tee-Hee!.... ;D...!

They don't merge in very well with other Bike Riders!

In fact, they don't look anything like other (normal) Bike Riders!... :o...!

Scary...or what!

Some of the first were flying over Germany about 65 years ago.

Foremost attention is on the HDs but there are an increasing number of Hondas, Kawasakis, etc. It is a competition, after all; they're arriving from across the country and from Canada, as well.

[color=#000000]Gee Paul,
I thought you knew that the word normal did not show up in the same conversation with us bike riders. Lots of different types of bikes and riders, all have the same goal, freedom and chasing the wind.
My son likes 'cruisers' (factory choppers) while I have always preferred street bikes, though I like V twins as well as transverse fours. And he used to drive a Mustang GT, while I drive a Z28 Camaro. I still love him though.

[color=#000000] :o I finally get it.
Now I know why I loved riding motorcycles so much. It was as close as I could get to being a pilot.

I'm seeing those amongst the continuous roar -- and, to show that HD isn't the only one not necessarily imported, more of these are sneeking in:

while I drive a Z28 Camaro.
I had mine for 13 years  -- 'til it rusted out beneath and was deemed unroadworthy. :'(

Maybe we need  a bike category here at SimV.
We have an Auto category.
Seems a bit biased to me.
