The Somali pirates irritated the WRONG country this time...

Grabs popcorn and waits for the typical and expected angry Russian military response!

Good job on those sailors locking themselves in the safe room. Now the Russian marines can go in and clean up without worrying about hostages.

Russian special forces have dealt with it.
I say we leave the area for them to patrol and clear up. Reported and over within a day.
clear out any reporters for security, so as not to give the pirates a heads up on operations, and then leave whatever branch the Russians want to let out and play, have their way.

UPDATE:
Russian special forces (probably Spetnaz, but not sure) have taken care of the problem. They boarded the ship, killed one pirate, and arrested ten others. The Russians then later realized that they cannot actually prosecute the pirates with their legal system so they let them go....in the middle of the ocean....in an inflatable boat.
