I have seen a couple of things about this.

This is the weekend of the 16th, 17th and 18th.
Weather permitting on Sunday they are expecting to have a fly over of around 20 (TWENTY!) B-25 Mitchell Bombers.

Main page:

PDF format flier:

Fly over info, including formation practice and rides:

No mention of giving rides DURING the formation practice... but if they offer that, for a chance to ride in a bomber formation flight, I might offer my third born child..(the first two are teenagers now, no one would want them).

Wow, now that would be something to see! :o

I had no idea that there were still 20 B-25s left flying, I would have thought that there might be 4 or 5 but 20?!

I mentioned this in a previous post sometime ago, back in the late 50's or early 60's here in Miami a silver skinned B-25 was used for mosquito spraying on several occasions.

There are actually quite a few.  Something tells me that I know one of the pilots in this group, if not the formation leader.  I'll have to give him a call..

[quote]Hagar was good enough to track the history of this plane, the page that came up at warbirdregistry.org ("Lucky Lady") had a listing of whereabouts over the years, and Miami was on the list several times, but no early history of the plane was cited.

I am going to try to get to Grimes, where the practice is, and then to Wright-Pat on Sunday.
On Sat, right in between. My wife is Matron of Honor in her best friend's wedding. It is tempting to skip it, but if I am not there, I might wake up missing some anatomy some morning.

Thanks for that Hagar (WFU = withdrawn from use).
