Good afternoon all...

The old girl and I had an interesting conversation while walking the property after our brunch today.

When we were in the military we received a clothing allowance for having our uniforms cleaned.
They do not do that anymore in the military from what I hear.

When I was flying for the airline I received a clothing allowance for having my uniform cleaned.
The airlines do not do that anymore either.

I used to have one new suit or sports jacket with two pair of pants/trousers tailor made a year.

Dirty teenagers had it right all along 

I have a Topman pea coat and I take a lint roller to it every so often. With spring coming along (it was here for a few days and now it is raining) I see no point to get it cleaned as I will soon stop wearing it for quite a few months.

I can't see it costing nearly as much as the coat was to get it cleaned. I think it is fairly affordable around here anyway.

Larry you would be shocked to have a uniform dry cleaned today.

I am convinced that wash and wear is the way to go, perhaps suits, sports jackets and dress pants/trousers will go that way or have they?
