The forcast for south central Mississippi for tonight and tomorrow is 3 to 5 inches of the white stuff. Unusual for us, but not totally new. Should be interesting.

Today is the first day in almost a week that it hasn't snowed here.  :)

We've got some more on the way this weekend.  :'(

They say this is caused by global warming, it's not quite what I was expecting.  :-/

Good afternoon all... ;)

Everyone is getting snow but us, it seems this area gets a snow flurry which amounts to next to nothing.  We have no snow at all, just cold weather, right now it is minus 17C plus the wind chill.

Might be a lot of dry wells if we soon don't get some snow and the lack of snow is not good for the farmers fields either.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Don't mind you sending a little snow Paul, but next time, keep the yellow stuff. We make our own here. ::) ;D

[edit][color=#000000]On second thought, send the snow to Doug, sounds like they need it.

Tomorrow night (friday going into saturday) it is forcasted to get a light sprinkling of the white stuff.  Hopefully just enough to make a 6" snowman.  The last time it snowed here was the Christmas of '89 right after Hurricane Hugo.  and we got around 1 foot 6 inches (0.457 meters for those of you across the pond).

now we are forcasted for just a trace amount that probably wont even stick to the ground.

Certainly not new...
the '08 squadron of the time invaded the Dumb and Bungle... oops... Drum and Bugle Corps (10th) squadron's barracks and pasted them with snowballs; caught on the receiving end outside, five to one, I was catching and throwing snowballs back at newer transfers from the PATS dorm. Biloxi Blues -- some while ago in an earlier and, perhaps, more agile life.

No sno here this year. Unusual. Anyone want to buy an 8 horse 28 inch Tecumsa snowthrower?

About time someone else gets some of this snow.  Our area is only 7 inches away from an all time record for annual snowfall.  My family lives about an hour south of patchz, and is looking forward to it.

On the east coast, we got 23 inches in one storm, and not even a week later, we got another 6 inches in another one.  Another storm expected for Tuesday.   :D
