I focused on the hand transplant, I didn't even know it could be done untill I read this. If you are blind, and get a hand transplant it is harder to recover succesfully because you can't recognize your new hand without seeing it? OK.
Are you changing your identity via new finger prints? You don't know where those hands have been, do you?  :)

There's an urban myth about a Irish mobsters in New York that keepth a pair of hands in a freezer, ;D and they used them to leave finger prints at crime scences to throw off the cops. They got found out when the cops raided there hangout, found the hands and where able to solve a bunch of murders and robbberys that went back quite a few years.

;D ;D ;D A small part of me wishes that is a myth! I suppose having an extra hand around the house would be quite handy.  ;D
