backing up FS2004 and FSX

Postby jack_ryan » Mon Jan 11, 2010 11:45 am

Hi All,

I hope I am posting in the right place, but here goes.  I want to relay the Operating system on my flight sim box but I dont want to reinstall all the scenery/airplanes/ai again.  Is there a way to accomplish or should I take the 3-4 days and reinstall everything?  If I can backup and restore, what directoies/files out side of the fs installs will I need to save?

If this has been asked and answered already please let me know, as I wasnt successful in my searches on the board.

Thanks,
Sean

This may not answer all your questions, but I think it will help as to the addon scenery files.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
